Week 13 Picks

Stanford -7 Notre Dame
Look for Andrew Luck to have a field day in his last game at Stanford Stadium. Stanford 38 - ND 21

Iowa St +28 Oklahoma
Iowa St is obviously coming of their biggest win ever, and I just think that 28 points is way too many here.  Oklahoma is going to be looking ahead somewhat to Bedlam, and without Broyles they don't have the weapons to score on every position.  Also the Oklahoma D has showed on more than one occasion that they can't really defend the pass all so well. Oklahoma 38 - Iowa St 28

Florida St -2 Florida
The Charlie Weis experiment isn't going all to well, and the Seminoles are looking to at least win the state championship.  Florida St 28 - UF 17

Season Record 10-5-1
Oklahoma (-3) Florida St.  [final score Okla 23 - Fl St 13]

Stanford (-9.5) Arizona [final score Stanford 37 - Arizona 10]

UGA (-10) Ole Miss [final score UGA 27 - Ole Miss 13]

Bama (-4) Florida [final score Bama 38 - UF 10]

Georgia Tech (-10) NC State [final score Ga Tech 45 - NC St 35]

UGA (-1.5) Tennessee [final score UGA 20 - Tenn 12]

LSU (-16) Tennessee [final score LSU 38 - Tenn 7]

Stanford (-21) Wash St [final score Stanford 44 - Wash St 14]

Arkansas (-17) Ole Miss [final score Ark 29 - Ole Miss 24]

Wake Forest (-3) Duke [final score Wake 24 - Duke 23]

Clemson (-4) Georgia Tech [final score Clemson 17 - Tech 31]

Stanford (-7.5) USC [Stanford  56 - USC 48]

Arkansas (-5) Cocks [Arkansas  44 - USC 28]

Not too good at picking underdogs

In a weekend where underdogs did pretty well, I was on the wrong side of that one. I will stick to picking favorites.

Week 12 Picks

This is a real snoozer of a week in college football, but you can always make those games a little more exciting when you get a little action on them. This week we head to Big 10 country for the classic under the radar rivalry. Yes that's right when there is a trophy involved, I guess you can consider it a rivalry. This in fact may be the best rivalry trophy of them all..... a spittoon.

Indiana +28 Mich St.

Give me 28 points in any rivalry game. Mich St. 38 - Indiana 17

Week 11 Picks

I got back on the winning track last week, and I'm going to keep that train a rollin'.

Arkansas -14 Tennessee
Arkansas beat SC by 16 points last week, and it should have been even worse. Arkansas dropped two easy touchdowns, and the SC D is much better than Tennessee. When UGA played UT they had several chances at deep balls that they did not capitalize on, and I look for Arkansas to hit those passes early and often. Tennessee's lack of depth is really going to show up as we are in the eleventh week of the season. Arkansas 44 - Tennessee 14

Auburn +13 Georgia
This game is a bigger rivalry than most people realize. The game has been played since 1892, and it has almost always been a close contest regardless of the teams records. While the UGA D is ranked in the top 10 this year, their achilles heal has been trick plays. Cue Gus Malzahn, the king of trickeration with an extra week to prepare. My pick on this one: Georgia 28 - Barners 24

Arkansas pulled it out and they also put my Dawgs in 1st place in the East. On the Season: 9-3-1
Oklahoma (-3) Florida St.  [final score Okla 23 - Fl St 13]

Stanford (-9.5) Arizona [final score Stanford 37 - Arizona 10]

UGA (-10) Ole Miss [final score UGA 27 - Ole Miss 13]

Bama (-4) Florida [final score Bama 38 - UF 10]

Georgia Tech (-10) NC State [final score Ga Tech 45 - NC St 35]

UGA (-1.5) Tennessee [final score UGA 20 - Tenn 12]

Picks for Week 10

My picks have been a little down the past couple of weeks, but here is where we turn it around.

Arkansas -5.5 South Carolina
Arkansas has squeaked out wins the past two weeks on the road. However, they are now back in Fayettenam this week to take on the Cocks. The Cocks have been hanging on themselves, but without Marcus Lattimore the Cocks are going to run out of gas this week. Connor Shaw threw for a total of 87 yards last week. So look for Arkansas to stack the box, and make Shaw beat them. I also look for the Arkansas offense to get back on track at home.

Arkansas 28 - SC 13
